1st orphan to start University

Philip Eshiabwala to start University September 2007 - Funded by Rody and Judy Grieve

Incredible news that the first orphan from "The Akhonya Trust Children's Home" is due to start Maseno University to study Special Needs Education and Information Technology. 

This is thanks to the generous funding given By Rod and Judy Grieve- our friends in Australia who have actually downsized their home to fund this and other projects at the orphanage.  They have been extremely generous with both their support and also donations since their visit to the orphanage and we can't extend enough thanks to them for this.  Philip told us on our recent visit how grateful he is and how hard he intends to work.

Maybe he will teach some of our other orphans in the future.  Thanks Rod and Judy and Good luck Philip!
