New cow for Bulimbo Disability Unit
Supermac
Due to some of the recent troubles in Kenya, a Unit to support Physically and mentally handicapped children lost the calf of their donated cow. Thanks to a donation from Richard Young the Unit now has a brand new cow to keep the grieving mother company.
Here are some words from Martin Wanzala who recently visited the Unit:
"Over the weekend I went to see for myself Supermac whom I found in good company with Geordie. Great thing I noticed was the plan the children at the unit have for supermac, they cant trust the cows to the worker alone, every weekend is assigned two to 3 of them to come with some grass and help feed the cows ,it is touching , the death of Almac affected them deeply they would do anything to be near their animals because thru the project they get lunch at school, Long live AKHONYA."
