Purchase of land for breeding programme

Hello folks,

Sure most of you now know of the tremendous 8.5k donation from Biorad and the plans we have for our proposed breeding programme!?

Anyhow, we have been in negotiations for the last couple of weeks to purchase 2 acres of land next to the Orphanage to commence the programme - in true Kenyan fashion we started at 420.000 p/acre and have reached an agreed price of 200.000 p/acre (approx £1.650.00).

The land is excellent, very fertile, clear, flat and right next to the Orphanage. This is as also a very good price as land is going up in the area due to the advent of electricity and plans for a tarmac road - imagine.

Amos is absolutely 'owa the moon' and has attached a few photo's of the land and recent goings on at the Orphanage.

We shall use a fair chunk of the Biorad funding to purchase the land, fence and build sheds, shelters etc, and will be relying on the on going 'give a gift programme' to stock it with the beasties we require - so please spread the word and see if we can rattle up a few moo coo's and old goats!
