CROSS CULTURAL/LETTER CHANCE
Our Student has continuously written letters and also received letters from the sponsor world wide. This helps the child keep in touch with their oversees sponsors

BREEDING PROGRAMME REPORT

The breeding programe has picked up and doing well. We have bought 8 new cows two goats and 30 hens. The total number of animals we have now are 14, 5 goats and 60 hens

CONSTRUCTION REPORT
There is on going work on building of cow shed and minor repairs.

SPIRITUAL NOURISHMENT

All our students were able to attend Sunday services and cater for their spiritual nourishment. We were able to guest speakers from various churches for Sunday service and weekly devolution.

FEEDING PROGRAMME
Our students’ were able to be provided with food and other dairy necessities. We are greatful to God who enabled us to care for the children through their individual sponsors; though it has not been easy as most of the prices of food stuffs went up by 120% due to post election crisis. One sack of maize went up from Kshs1, 200 to Kshs.2, 500 but all in all God gave us the strength and grace to move on. This also affected our fees in secondary schools as most schools had to come up with many budget to cater for deficits caused by food crisis, thus we had to pay Kshs.18, 000 for our secondary school students in September .

FUTURE PLANS

Expansion of breeding programme.
Building of guest house
Buying a van for children home.
Purchase of more land for sustainability and growing of our own maize, beans and vegetables. This can reduce high expenditure in the budget and gap in price fluctuations in food stuffs.
Starting of our own secondary school as this can reduce payment of fees.
