Container leaves Newcastle

It is with great joy that we announce the departure of the container from Newcastle bound for the Western Province of Kenya.

We would like to thank everyone who has donated some exceptional items which has menat that the container is jam packed with things that will be truly truly useful and lifechanging for all our friends in Kenya.

We would like to extend special thanks to:

Steve and Marianne Adams and Biorad who funded the container

David Meldrum for assistance with lifting heavy items  (not personally but with the loan of machinery) such as a lathe onto pallets etc

And not forgetting Michael and Ruth, who have given up a huge amount of time and energy in packing all of the pallets and labelling them and sorting out the packing list and just about everything else.  Their dedication has been inspiring for all of us.  ASANTE SANA guys!

"We are pleased to be the bearers of good news. The container has finally left Newcastle. It's due to set sail in a couple of days and should be arriving in Mombasa in around 6 weeks.

I the meantime, lets hope that God grants us calm seas and allows our ship to sail to Kenya without drama.

Best wishes to you all"      Michael & Ruth
