Margaret Dowe returns to Kenya!

                     Margaret Dowe is an inspiration to us all!!

After an initial visit to our Trust Margaret was so inspired that she has given up her career in the UK to return to Kenya and work as a volunteer at our Children’s Home.

Margaret left ‘Bonnie Wee Scotland’ on Monday 21st September 09. She will be at the Children’s home for 6 months working alongside the Project Manager Amos Mtsotso. She will assist with the implementation and development of systems and administrative procedures.

Her accommodation will be the newly built Guest House in the grounds of the home, so she will be in close proximity of the children.

Margaret will be working without pay to help us, she saved up the money for airfares etc by taking a part time job on an evening.

Margaret’s friends and family who she is leaving behind gave her a good send off ……..

Everyone here in the UK send our sincere thanks and gratitude.We all wish Margaret the best of luck and with her dedication and determination we are sure she will be very successful in anything she turns her hand to!
