News from Margaret Dowe in Kenya
Margaret is settling in very well at the Children’s Home, although she has hit the ground running to say the least!! Margaret is assisting Amos Motsotso in implementing new practices and procedures within the home. These new procedures are very important along with introducing role profiles for all the staff.

One of the new practices introduced is to ensure accountability of all provisions and they are now buying provisions in bulk and at harvest time for the likes of maize etc:

Margaret is working very hard and long hours but the faces on these happy children make it all worth while! It is also a stressful time around now as all the children are taking exams……Good luck to all and keep on studying …

One of Margaret’s close friends, also called Margaret, is going out to visit Kenya in November. She will work alongside Margaret helping to establish the changes and working towards self sustainability with income from the workshops.
We are very lucky to have people like these two ladies. They have great passion and enthusiasm and we are eternally grateful for their support and commitment.
